The LOVE CONTINUES

... VALENTINE by the calendar marking is here again... 

Isn’t it cool to just join in the conversation to talk about love during this season. Since every online and offline media is already sizzling on the hot topic of the most spectacular day of this month which is “VALENTINE’S DAY”.

We remember as children on this supposed special day of the month, how we'd always hear revised versions of the celebrated character according to history; though still can’t factor how every person became a witness to this event. This day over decades is marked as the only special and most recognized day to celebrate and demonstrate love.

I will drive you organically through the theme of this piece. Just stay with me a bit. 

 We are adaptive and comfortable to take on routines with no hassle. However, unless you break out or try to introduce change which becomes very difficult yet profiting when positive, we remain preys to systems, laws, rules, and philosophies, etc. It has become a routine to just fit into a character of the Val casts when necessary as on this day.

 People get perplexed and so excited about a moment you neither can understand nor have control of. Others get influenced to conduct themselves just to fit into varying situations.

We are advised as individuals to live and see life as intentionally as possible. There are no calendars and dates in God’s Kingdom that we all look forward to. All we have to work with are the times and seasons our benevolent God offers.

We are in the world. Hence, need to track times and events. We do recognise what works and how necessary it is to feature calendars and events; for appraisals, activities, justifications, tenures and reigns which could teach us to apply our hearts to wisdom in the days we are privileged to live.

Why then are we compelled to imbibe principles, calendar years, philosophies that add no productivity to our lives?

There is one knowledge that surpasses every fairytale, and it is the truth that 2000 years ago someone so special to you and me, if we realise, demonstrated a template of love that no record has ever surmounted to date. He did this so that when times like this come, when one tells you there is a special day to demonstrate love, you can boldly articulate the vision that ‘love is and should be demonstrated every passing day, as the sun rises'.

Do you ever imagine how lovely and refreshing it would be if media houses, families, companies and associations preach love every single day other than the supposed Valentine’s Day? Yeah, right! That would bring much bliss, and there would be a reduction in the pandemonium seen across times and cities.

As we celebrate the day, with a touch of red as it has been the tradition and every jot of relish, whether deep or plastic, let us obtain knowledge that this celebration is and should be a lifelong celebration and demonstration of love. We do have a laydown template to express eternal love as demonstrated by Our Lord Jesus Christ, to our neighbours, and to our society at large, irrespective of the times and seasons.

To my delectable audience, girls, women and supporting males, do enjoy this day and replicate this celebration on the rest of the days of the month of the year. It is He who made every day and loaded benefits, every day for his pleasure, even on Valentine's Day. So, celebrate this day and more days giving Glory to the Maker and not be influenced negatively by the brisk moment. Love, Love, and Love more as the day goes by.

She can establish herself in what she enjoys doing and subsequently commercialize it On a summary note, permit me here to start this piece with an inspiring illustration to magnify my thoughts on BEcoming a Woman and not just a woman, but a woman of Competence and Courage. A man endured being in a situation as he supposed, where he was the only one working in the home. He barely noticed the little assistance the woman offered as a wife by doing home chores, taking good care of the kids, fixing meals on timely basis, washing and obviously fulfilling her marital duties.
