The One-Chance of Life
Bad experiences do not rule out the ultimate plan God has for us, but a reminder that He will never leave us nor let us have such memory take the better part of our lives.
Hello friends, it is amazing to always communicate here on the premise of purpose and knowledge. There are vast resources on this living planet, which could be utilized for the growth and development of our innumerable dreams and visions towards a healthy society and for eternal benefits.
We should be aware that no experience come to us as a waste irrespective of our feelings and expectations. I personally picture every life’s event planned or unplanned as an opportunity to get a message, confirmation, counsel, or instruction from God. Reclining inwards is a mode that I take on to worship and pray whenever I am caught in a seeming challenging situation. For we know that every challenge or huddle we overcome ushers us into a greater challenge, and another until you earn mastery in your art of overcoming. Romans 5:3-5
Isn’t that why for every class you pass, there is a more fascinatingly difficult exam that awaits your transition into another phase? We are not the first to experience all the happenings of the world in different dimensions. As a matter of fact, I have come to the knowledge that these and much more trouble are parts and fabrications of this plane. 1Peter 4:12. I just want us to think for a while that if even the best characters and personalities of this world and the previous having modelled the faith life could experience the very worse at its best, then we all may be vulnerable.
Time and time again how have you nourished the totality of your being i.e.- your sight, your perception, your discernment, to inspecting these occurrences? What do you see from your wealth of knowledge of God’s word? Consider the bank of his resourceful wisdom concerning your affairs, afflictions, pains, gains, pleasures and displeasure, what have you made of them. Sometimes we blame our response on natural reflex and brood over the aftermath, not realizing how much power is in our disposal to control our responses in other to maximize the very kernel of the varieties of experiences we go through.
The above title was birthed out of several experiences of life, not necessarily faced by me but a combination of other people’s experiences that have really tutored me to face life like a flint.
The title is a phrase commonly used by the Nigerians especially people from the south west region of Nigeria. This may be reaching an audience from a great mileage considering the powerful influence the internet has; hence I would expound on this in just a moment.
One-Chance is a terrible, dreadful and unappealing situation where people of an unidentified sect use any mobile means such as; the prominent tricycle popularly referred to as keke, commercial cars, buses etc., to defraud victims of the most valuable items such as phones, wrist watches, cash etc.
These accosters dress and appear in the most deceptive way just to accomplish their hideous mission. They strategize every time they go on their mission to avoid being caught. Sometimes these people come in from different states and communities in other to avoid being caught, thereby leaving their victims taunted for life. Such experiences expose their victims to psychological misnomer that may take the individual ample time to heal before getting back on destiny track. These experiences could also malnourish individuals of motivations and inspirations towards the process through fulfilling purpose.
One chance of life; well in the previous paragraph I talked about swindling victims of their most valuable items, well I wasn’t totally referring to material items even though I casually listed some. I was largely talking about people who would lose their virginity as a result of the incident and go insane to resolve to suicide as their only option, yeah I meant people who were on their way to establishing purpose finally and got interrupted with pains and griefs in their hearts that they never got the antidote for, yeah students who were on their way to nurture their dreams of changing the world but met untimely death because they would rather perish than give their body or hand their dreams to impostors.
Have you ever been caught up in the one-chance of life where situations and occurrences defraud you of all your irreplaceable values, desires, dreams, ambitions in a flash and all you thought was to end the mission to the greater feat entirely instead of retracting your step and evaluating your faith?
Should we rather abandon our God given mission for some distraction instead of asking for God's grace to see the need to invest more in our faith in Christ Jesus? Have faith in the strength and victory in our Lord Jesus Christ to neutralize every fear that may have resulted to depression, distraction and feeling of being lost due to this experience.
As we already know that success cannot be achieved by our power nor might. Hence, we ask the Lord to grant us divine knowledge to know per time what the message is to learn from every event that we find ourselves. The grace to discern when to never get caught up in the eventualities of life.
Let’s keep it short and drive home the message; these experiences are real and if you accidentally come across anyone who dared to make it out of these ordeals alive first, despite the dangerous efforts by these miscreants, see it as your responsibility to ardently encourage them from the bank of your knowledge of God’s word. You don’t want to stutter without any substance when you meet these people. Otherwise, you may be overwhelmed when they speak from a place of; anger, pain, fear, and doubt especially for those who do not desire healing. We shall not die in obscurity, pain, fear, doubt but live in righteousness, joy, peace, holy Ghost, and fulfillment of purpose to declare the words of the Lord upon our lives. Yes! make that declaration for you …"I will use every experience as a resource to fulfil my purpose while I sojourn here on earth. I will stand strong, unflagging, stable because I sturdily believe and stand in the promises of God."
He will surely magnify himself above what you deem your provocatively highly magnified experience.
