THE JOURNEY - EKO Corper

Image
Some processes may seem tough, but I implore you to make the most out of it while you can. Join me as I take you through memory lane of how I enjoyed my NYSC days as a Lagos Corp member.  Time is surely a mystery. I remember how it all started with the anxiousness to get out of school, on tenterhooks to be posted after the NYSC registration. Haba!,   The patience was almost running out, but I certainly couldn't do anything. It was a case of seeking a miracle, hoping to get posted to places I wasn’t given the opportunity to select during my registration. Anxiety made me travel several states in my mind just to be protected from feeling disappointed when I finally get my posting letter. Finally, the long-anticipated wait was truncated as it was time to call at any cyber cafe of choice to print the Call-up letter. I almost lost my cool upon this realization. I finally summoned the courage to print and Eureka! I got a Lagos. Yeah!, Lasgidi aka Eko, lol . I had a mixed feeling of...

Becoming The Good-Half

Image
I am sure you are a lovable person. But have you tried initiating a chat with one who has track records of not knowing or attempting to know what it means to exude love, be loved or even validate your title as a lovable person?... Nice to have you visit here. I meant to express that I always look forward to having you stop by my refined thought-shelf. Come on, Shall we? I love the quip that says “two heads are better than one” or better put “two good heads are better than one”. And this saying has influenced several decisions around partnership of any sort which includes businesses, marriages etc. It originally says two being more preferred than one, never suggests having more than two isn’t a good idea. Two is a standard for establishing quality partnerships and goes further to admonish a healthy two for anything productive. Don’t you love and wish anytime you have something going, to be partnered with someone as equally sensible and one who ideates possibilities to achieving succes...

Even in the Strangest Experience...

God is never on hiatus over anything that concerns you. Be steadfast, be at peace and know that you are worth more than the birds to Him. Hello here! Do well to have a quick tour around my blog and drop a comment and I would be honoured to attend to it. The piece you are about to ingest is inspired by Job’s encounter in the bible. But for some reason, I feel like many have either visited this terrain or merely groping for light out of such unpleasant experiences. Unlike my other pieces, kindly permit me to focus about 7o% of our investigations or learning on job’s account, would you? If you have visited the account of Job, you would for a moment be tempted to step into Job’s shoes to play the blame game when he lacked words or means to decipher nor describe his predicament. Doing justice to our analogy is mentally applying ourselves in Job’s shoes, to be simply empathetic. When you see an emotional movie to the point of getting emotional with the characters and seeing yourself in t...

The One-Chance of Life

Image
Bad experiences do not rule out the ultimate plan God has for us, but a reminder that He will never leave us nor let us have such memory take the better part of our lives. Hello friends, it is amazing to always communicate here on the premise of purpose and knowledge. There are vast resources on this living planet, which could be utilized for the growth and development of our innumerable dreams and visions towards a healthy society and for eternal benefits. We should be aware that no experience come to us as a waste irrespective of our feelings and expectations. I personally picture every life’s event planned or unplanned as an opportunity to get a message, confirmation, counsel, or instruction from God. Reclining inwards is a mode that I take on to  worship and pray whenever I am caught in a seeming challenging situation. For we know  that every challenge or huddle we overcome ushers us into a greater challenge, and another until you earn mastery in your art of overco...

You can defeat it! – “Can you defeat it?”

Image
We are indeed thankful for having gloriously  transitioned from the very first month of January all the way in grace into the 1 st half of this unimaginably glorious year #2021. It is always an honour to recount the huge intervention of God’s mercies upon our lives throughout the passing months in spite of the global and national challenges. An anointed man of God once revealed that conquered challenges are a revelation of God’s goodness that comes through in times of need. How amazing!, to serve a Father unseen yet outstandingly palpable in every of our affairs. “No wonder!” as often exclaimed when we realize we are never left all by ourselves in events of challenges. Such experiences offer an exceptional proof that God has profitable interest in every aspect of our lives which includes also the haphazard, dis orderly, stuffy affairs of mortals and undeserving men. He has clearly demonstrated to us the mindset “If I can do, then you can do much more” John 14:12 with track reco...

THE MASKS

Image
…When sincerity to reveal one’s true nature becomes the order of life, all you get is what is deserving of your identity and personality.  The more challenges one is willing to accept, the more opportunities he is given to reveal his nature, identity, and skill, in other to proffer solutions that will elevate him and unbox him to the world of greatness. This is well received by your true self; when all these lines hit the mask, it deludes you of maximum opportunities. There is no single duty to success, but a fact that as rain and shines are both experienced by the wealthy and the less privileged so is life’s random challenges thrown to all and sundry. But what makes the difference is the posture in which we are positioned to receive it and how we end up utilizing the challenges to our advantage. A lot of times we get thrown off balance from the tension of these unplanned challenges, that we resolve to shield these blows with an alter ego thereby delaying development in...
