THE MASKS

…When sincerity to reveal one’s true nature becomes the order of life, all you get is what is deserving of your identity and personality. 

The more challenges one is willing to accept, the more opportunities he is given to reveal his nature, identity, and skill, in other to proffer solutions that will elevate him and unbox him to the world of greatness. This is well received by your true self; when all these lines hit the mask, it deludes you of maximum opportunities. There is no single duty to success, but a fact that as rain and shines are both experienced by the wealthy and the less privileged so is life’s random challenges thrown to all and sundry. But what makes the difference is the posture in which we are positioned to receive it and how we end up utilizing the challenges to our advantage.


A lot of times we get thrown off balance from the tension of these unplanned challenges, that we resolve to shield these blows with an alter ego thereby delaying development in certain areas of our lives. Every resource of heaven; the rain, sun, moon and all other creations are all for his pleasure and have their unique purpose and timing to exude the grace and glory in them. And just like other creations; as humans designed in the magnificent Glory of God, we do have duties to behold on earth to affect our sphere. We can’t be effective in our designation when we are masked. Masking is a deceitful approach to life and nothing really is accorded to a masked person because you are regarded innominate.


Unfortunately, not just individuals get to be masked to live through life and excuse themselves from the supposed challenges of life but nations, societies, institutions mask professionally to hide their dubious intentions. People mask to obtain vain favour, corporations mask to obtain projects and not eventually keep to the terms and conditions because their intentions from the onset were never genuine. Marriages are highly masked in words, display of photos in social platforms but only the masked knows the real person(intention) behind it, and that alone is burdensome. It feels disheartening to only realize how separate obscure worlds are being created for an uncomfy habitat, with no one to identify with and help ease the tension arising from the happenings around. This amidst others is the likely reality of the masked.

If we are sincere enough, we recognize those quirky moments we got masked into pettiness, false happiness, validations, and team-ups whereas we felt no sense of belonging and peace. Nothing felt real, the mask got it all; Got the hits, the loves, the challenge, the growth, it practically rips us of every opportunity to experience true transformation and unending growth to reveal the nature of Christ in us. The Christ that bore all the pain, the shame, refused to mask himself but endured all for the Glory ahead. There is a Glory ahead, for every hit you take for a good course on your identity. You can have 'good success' without being an impostor. You can be the best of yourself if you focus on the goal to reveal Christ’s that never hides in you and in your field of influence. It is okay to cry as a cathartic experience if the pain hurts really bad, it makes your tear visible to wipe. It is okay to be vulnerable, only then will His strength be made perfect in your vulnerabilities. It is okay to ask for help, “Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one travelling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations”. This is a huge task to filter through a mask. 


Being real for clarifications isn’t declaring the unwholesome state of your mind or proclaiming your weaknesses and giving it the power to overwhelm your nature in Christ, but it is consciously positioning yourself in the pursuit of God’s Vision for your life and deploying anointed words of the declaration to aid the pursuit. Declare your identity in Christ, Take off your mask and let God take absolute control of your emotions, relationship, family, career and Life.

We can uncover our identities Now in Christ Jesus Only and be free from the limitations of being masked and isolated for damnation.

Acknowledging the FOUNDATION: Its February 2018

...the picture of the end from the beginning - Inyene Udoekong E.  I’m out of reactions and justifications as to why people, society, government and institutions do and behave in certain ways that they do. As the Scriptures reveals, if the foundation is faulty or destroyed, what can the righteous do? Psalms 3:11 interestingly, that scripture remains an evergreen question of all ages and to all generation. Defining foundation and David’s illustrative insight to an architectural/building engineering perspective, Wikipedia.org defines foundation as a base, more commonly, the element of an architectural structure which connects it to the ground, and transfers loads from the structure to the ground. This is another dimension to this definition; foundation can be either Shallow or Deep . This to me depends on your drive and expectations in life. Foundation from my perspective is the beginning of every end. It’s the picture of the end from the beginning and how you desire it.

I love the quip that says “two heads are better than one” or better put “two good heads are better than one”. And this saying has influenced several decisions around partnership of any sort which includes businesses, marriages etc. It originally says two being more preferred than one, never suggests having more than two isn’t a good idea. MY SUBMISSION: MY VISION and HIS MISSION...

This morning as I meditated upon the knowledge of God’s word to seek direction into the New Month, He put a song in my heart and I began to sing.  [I surrender all to God All to Thee my Blessed Saviour, I surrender all]. I really didn’t know at first why I had to sing the song; I just muttered and momentarily hummed the song. I pondered deeply in my spirit whether I was ready to surrender entirely all to Him. I thought I could reserve some of me for me; my strength was still aiding not totally but well my skills and intellect might be able to still go a long way.  I pondered just a bit if I really would let another, other my steps better than myself and wondered why I would give my whole time, wealth and heart to one I thought wasn’t tangible enough to negotiate with when I wanted out of the deal.
