WHY I QUIT PROSTITUTING

I affirm that I will be committed to becoming that ONE, who will partner with the Holy Spirit to expunge whoredom from my life, family, land, community and nation at large. And ultimately install infrastructures of salvation in Christ alone.

While I may envisage the awesome traffic the caption may attract, your guess is accurate that I can’t tell if you read to the end. Some of us may be dealing with a lot of issues, not to downplay real issues. So much so that we fail to allocate our precious time and resources to practice the only way that guarantees peace and alignment. The psalmist knew exactly the reset button that retracted him towards peace and alignment. Psalms one hundred and thirty-nine verse twenty-three and twenty-four reads, “search me thoroughly and know my heart; Test me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.”

 

We are building already on scriptures, which is fantastic as we know the foundation upon which the thought here is established is safe and secure for any one. It is scriptural to believe that ye shall find what you take out time to seek. Seeking is an intentional investment that is rewarded with a finding. So in light of Matthew chapter seven verse seven, we see how the wise psalmist opted always for a heart virus scan as would be best understood in today’s tech semantics.

 

I always told a friend that the best way to gain revelation into the scriptures is to relate it to today’s clime and the present conditions and happening that first connects to the person studying the word, then his immediate environment and next his external environment. These among other benefits uncovers the amazing ways God speaks evidently to us. The psalmist was sincere and humble enough to ask The Lord to get past his well-arranged sitting room (a compartment of his heart), traditionally kept spick-and-span, all the way to undertake a kitchen and basement audit. This sounds like washing your linen in the open when it is not you cleaning your mess. That point is the point of brokenness and total submission. We are simply submitting to His sovereignty to establish what our heart and lives look like within the template of heaven to be replicated here on earth.

 

Until we contract the most; reliable, dependable, trustworthy, omnipotent, and just vendor for this delicate job, we may not acquire quite the peace and alignment required to lead a fulfilled life.

 

While we are yet seeking to find one that fits the specifics for the job. We have the daunting task of attending to influx of phony representations of the services needed until proven otherwise. They appeared like the real deal but were only distractions and influences to dissuade you from your genuine search.

Like the illustration above, we have occupied every opportunity to be searched, audited and transformed with faux representations. We have allowed tradition, culture and religion to search us, inspire us and momentarily dictate to us how to arrange our compartments in the most surreal and questionable manner.

 

Tradition, culture and religion are man-made and what they mirror to the world at large is as a function of what was orchestrated, bought-in and circulated by man for fellow man with little or no understanding of the sovereignty of God. The motivation is as man, vain and a mist that can be easily infiltrated by other systems. There may be a scuffle for few modifications here and there, but that may be all it is worth.

 

My very first experience as an auditee got me nervy as events unfolded right before my curious eyes. In the end I realized audit exercises were not designed to suffer any establishment or individual but to ultimately help identify gaps and see opportunities for continual improvement. Conformity should be encouraged, enjoyed and engaged accordingly.

 

It reminds me of the understanding of the psalmist to always engage this exercise to keep him on track. No wonder The Lord regarded him as a man after His own heart. He engaged continual improvement to be aligned with the frequency of heaven’s will.

 

Man being the apex of God’s creation is naturally curious, opinionated, innovative and inquisitive. I’d like to think in my opinion that man takes to seeking and innovating as natural skill-sets. The quest for solutions and answers drive man towards innovations and furnishing solutions in diverse areas of interests. Not a big deal for man to plan, vocalize ideas and even aim towards achieving them. We have seen and still find successful innovations go haywire which only reflects the heart conditions that conceived and executed ingenious yet dangerous inventions. The intelligence and innovations if done with a heart condition that fits the psalmist is likely to bring to bear every attribute within the confines of God’s will, which exudes also His peace. A study from the first female shows that man(humans), need no extra skill to display a sense of curiosity in seeking and acting accordingly. This has created an unending search for ultimate plugs for seeming errors, desires, viruses and lack of fulfillment.

 

The fallacious attempts of impulsively innovating answers as always, without engaging the wisdom of God has led generations to embracing the emptiness and nothingness that is found in religion, tradition and culture.

 

First Peter chapter one verse eighteen and nineteen (AMP), reminds us - “you were not redeemed from your useless (spiritual unproductive) way of life, inherited (by tradition) from your forefathers with perishable things like silver and gold, but purchased with precious blood, like that of a sacrificial lamb, unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.” 

 

You see! just as many were influenced into prostituting with little or no effort to pulling out due to the addictions of vain benefits gotten from it. Same reason or more, our forefathers got engrossed due to vain promises, idols, corrupt associations, two-facedness, and every works of flesh allowable.

 

When I studied the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, every time the anger of God was kindled it was always because of prostitution of some sort. It was either they were distracted from the divine focus on the act and ways of God or they were encumbered with alien characters of murmuring or fuzzing, which was not associated with the character traits of God.

 

And when I considered the woman taken in adultery in the Bible, Jesus dismissed the case by asking -(paraphrasing) he that is innocent of any form of adultery of; idol worship, a heart that devises evil plans towards a neighbour, in this digital age I would add; embracing validations from countless social media platforms more, than the very word that offers exoneration- should cast the first stone. We see that in the story it was easy for the woman to be caught in the act but in this age and era. People are going about prostituting, fornicating, committing adultery of all sorts, without a trace to attract any form of help via therapists, counselors, or rehab specialist to offer the necessary assistance.

 

We have come this far to gain a broader perspective of my caption and to say the truth. The reason why I quit prostitution is the responsibility I have towards a healthy foundation for posterity. I must continually expose every of my compartments to be audited and improved by His sure mercies. This is necessary for posterity to inherit the fullness, abundance, blessedness and gains associated to believing and trusting in the salvation offered by the potent blood of Jesus Christ.

 

If you read to the end, I want you to avail your members for the Holy Spirit to search and know your heart, and expunge every prostituting tendency to ultimately lead you in the everlasting way. A way that not only affects you but is divinely contagious to affect your generation.

 

I sincerely do hope we see it as a worthy course to expunge whoredom from our lives, homes, societies and communities.
