Celebrating Mother's Day 2022

Grand Message: 👉YOU are sorted to chart the course of a Purposeful Life

Ever thought of the office or formal space to feel familiar even before resuming at the workplace? Ever commended your mum, dad or both parents for doing pretty well preparing you for the office? Okay😄 I know it may be too early on this note to believe me, but you are welcome to join me investigate in truism how effective our mothers’ songs were the very alarm that woke us up to the realities of life.

In no particular order, let us ride together. Oh! you were first introduced as a seed that mother passionately watered with her strong words of affirmation day and nights. The songs, the prayers were all manure to grow and nurture her seeds (YOU). It began the very intro of the office induction, mum would hold her tummy and press in slightly with an initiation of a mutual communication to alert you of the to-dos and times of initiation. You are certainly not oblivious of how structured and important office tasks and the times allotted can be.

Mum knew exactly when to wake, pat and allow you express yourself. She knew how to put you to bed and make you say hi when you could, by unapologetically bulging to greet or play.

Getting out was no much difference cos the drill continued. Like you had to eat when you didn’t feel like it and abstain when you really wanted to grab your milk stored up in mama’s repository. Poor you! You learnt to eat when necessary and not to harm yourself. Eventhough you dispute that as a fact, you should trust mama’s wise judgment through God’s wisdom to know and do better. Else in future, that unchecked appetite may be drawn towards something that may be detrimental to you in the course of fulfilling something of extreme value such as purpose.

Mum knew how best to set us up for any activity without a hassle and we had no option but to grow into BEcoming cooperative. These activities helped us grow into better understanding of the drills and as we did in our various capacities, we did appreciate the drill. It wasn’t all rosy, as there were times mama would nag as if she could eject some bad behaviors in that moment. Does this resonate with any? Lol!. She runs us through our JDs (Job Descriptions) on a daily’s. You see in my maybe myopic opinion; some homes are more offices than some offices really are. These schedules inadvertently prepare and sustain us through the courses of our lives. We learn to take mama’s nag to mean she was allowed to express her displeasure and still share same space. It doesn’t matter how unruly your boss expresses his displeasure, you don’t get to dismiss or opt out of your responsibilities when it is within the context of acceptable work policy.

All her efforts were intentional to wake you up the right time, to dress your bed the way you would want your life dressed with character and integrity. Oh! the need to be responsible cos she may be absent when the light is focused on you to prove your competence. The same reason for pulling the broom to sweep your room, may be the same reason you take any responsibility with a deep sense of knowing that you can handle the job task ahead, and best believe you will.

Do not underplay mama’s effort to have been instrumental to your knowing when and what to say what should be said. Mama had a superb wisdom to make us measure in the right quantity and the right proportion of nutrients required for our body system at every given phase. This was a hack to my financial discipline and freedom.

In conclusion even though papa supported behind the scenes, mama’s sacrifice to always be present to monitor these processes made her most sorted edifice(model) effective and worth sharing.
